Celtic adds Murphy from SunderlandSoccer Betting Lines07/16/2010 - Glasgow, Scotland (Sportsbook Betting Lines) - Celtic have completed the signing of Sunderland striker Daryl Murphy on a three-year contract. The 27-year-old joins fellow Bhoys newcomers Charlie Mulgrew, Joe Ledley and Cha Du-Ri in Neil Lennon's squad ahead of the new Scottish Premier League season. Murphy, who has won nine international caps for Republic of Ireland, started his career with Waterford United, before making the switch to the Black Cats in 2005. Now, following loan spells at Sheffield Wednesday and Ipswich Town last term, he has decided to join up with the Scottish giants after making 110 appearances and scoring 14 goals for the Wearside outfit. Both center Jeff Saturday and quarterback Peyton Manning gave New Orleans’ front four props, admitting keeping guys like Will Smithand Charles Grant contained would be a tall task for the offensive line.
