Ronald Belisario on the restricted list Wednesday due to personal reasons.
Belisario had been a lynchpin in the Dodgers bullpen, posting a 1-1 mark with
a 3.79 earned run average this season. Manager Joe Torre said he was
"disappointed," but did not elaborate further on the situation.
The club re-instated pitcher Carlos Monasterios to take Belisario's place on
the roster. He had been on the disabled list since June 19 with a blister on
his right index finger. Monasterios has a 3-2 record and a 3.88 ERA over 17
appearances, six starts this season.
