Halladay, Kendrick to switch spots in rotation

06/12/2010 - Boston, MA (Sportsbook Betting Lines) - Phillies pitchers Roy Halladay and Kyle Kendrick will switch spots in the rotation for the club's upcoming series with the New York Yankees.

The Philadelphia Inquirer reported on Saturday that Halladay will get the start on Tuesday, in that series opener in the Bronx, to square off against Yanks' ace CC Sabathia. Kendrick will be moved back a day to Wednesday.

Kendrick, who did not pick up a decision after five innings on the hill during a 10-8 win over Florida last Tuesday, was used in two frames of relief during Friday's 12-2 loss to the Red Sox.

Halladay last took the mound on Thursday, losing a 2-0 duel with Florida's Josh Johnson.
