Josh Smith ended with 17 points, while Marvin Williams and Al Horford netted 15 apiece for Atlanta, which outscored the Grizzlies, 55-39, in the second half. Mike Bibby and Joe Johnson each donated 11 points for the victors. "We're a team we know that can't be beat when we're committed for 48 minutes," Hawks coach Mike Woodson said. "I think we've proven that this year, but we still have a ways to go." These two teams have split a pair of meetings so far this season with each club holding serve on its home floor. Overall, the Hawks have taken five straight over the Heat in Dixie.
