Basketball Betting Lines

03/20/2010 - Sacramento, CA (Sportsbook Betting Lines) - Brandon Jennings scored a game-high 35 points on 8-of-13 from three-point range, along with eight assists as the Bucks fought valiantly to take down the Sacramento Kings, 114-108 in double- overtime.

John Salmons netted 27, with seven rebounds and five assists as the Bucks won for the seventh time in their last eight outings. Andrew Bogut added 21 and 11 boards for the Bucks, who outscored the Kings 13-7 in the second extra period.

Beno Udrih paced Sacramento with 26 points and nine assists as the Kings fell for the third time in four games and lost rookie standout Tyreke Evans for both overtime periods. He suffered a concussion after being elbowed in the mouth late in the fourth quarter. He will undergo further testing to determine the full extent of the injury.

Both Carl Landry and Spencer Hawes added 16 points in the loss.

The Bucks broke out in the second overtime period as a Bogut hook shot and a Carlos Delfino triple gave them the 106-101 lead. A Salmons bank shot with 35.5 seconds left sealed the win for the Bucks as they made their free throws in the final 30 seconds.

"We did everything but cash in the win," said Kings coach Paul Westphal. "We made them take the shots we wanted them to take. All you can say is that it had to be their night."

In the extra period, the teams were tied mostly throughout and ended the period tied at 101. Jennings had an open look with 1.4 seconds left but missed the jumper short and Ersan Ilyasova's tip try didn't go.

The Bucks cut into the Kings lead and tied the game at 77 on a Jennings triple with just over 6 1/2 minutes left in the final quarter. But an Evans three- point play re-gained the advantage for Sacramento at 82-79 with just over five minutes remaining. A big Udrih triple with 2:59 to go stretched the lead to 89-82.

Milwaukee trimmed the lead to two on an Bogut dunk with 24.4 seconds left in the game, but Francisco Garcia drained two key foul shots put the Kings up four with 23.5 seconds left. A Salmons triple trimmed the edge, but the Kings continued to make their foul shots for a 95-92 lead after Udrih drained a pair.

After the Kings extended their lead to three on two Udrih free throws, Ilyasova drained a long-range three-pointer with 6.4 seconds left for the tie at the end of regulation at 95-95.

The Bucks then put together a 6-0 stretch to end the first frame up 29-21. The Kings came out in the second on an 11-0 run to take the lead at 32-29 with 9:01 left in the first half. Udrich capped the stretch with a driving layup. But the Bucks fought and gained back the advantage at 34-32 after a Jennings three-pointer. The Kings got with one on two free throws from Evans, ending the half down 49-48.

Both squads held the edge at numerous points in the third, but the Kings scored seven straight to end the quarter up 73-66, including a Dominic McGuire triple with 2.7 seconds remaining.

Game Notes

The Bucks converted on 14-of-30 three-pointers...Ilyasova finished with 12 points and 11 boards off the bench...The Kings converted on just 5-of-17 triples...Garcia finished with 10 points and Ime Udoka tallied seven points and 13 rebounds, all off the bench.

Mens NCAA Basketball Tournament odds
As of February 9, MySportsbook.com has released its coveted 2007 Mens NCAA Basketball Tournament betting odds. “March Madness betting ” only a month away, the top ranked Florida Gators are favorite at 7-2 to win it all. The defending champs have not disappointed at all this season and currently have a 22-2 record and are undefeated (9-0) in SEC play. The Gators’ thrive off of their extremely balanced, experienced and versatile attack. All five starters started in last seasons National Championship game. What is most impressive with this group is their balance; the five starters all average between 10.7 and 13.6 PPG. The Gators have been on an absolute roll having won 15 straight by an average of 16.4 PPG.

Right behind the Gators are the 5th ranked UNC Tar Heels at 9-2. The Heels (21-3, 7-2) are absolutely loaded with top notch talent and are as deep as any team in the country. A concern for the Tar Heels might be inexperience. Of their top four scorers/ minute earners, three are freshmen and the other is a sophomore. The rest of the regular season, the Tar Heels play only one team that is currently ranked (Duke). Their remaining opponents do combine for an impressive 107-58 record though.

Other teams that the MySportsbook.com members seem to believe will win it all include the west coasts’ top team #2 UCLA (6-1), #3 OSU behind man-child Greg Oden (8-1), and #4 Wisconsin (10-1) behind their defense which has given up 70+ points only three times all season.

Below is a list of some of the favorites to win the 2007 Men’s NCAA Basketball Championship lines. For the full list of teams and March Madness odds be sure to log onto MySportsbook.com.
